We couldn't be more thrilled that so many people joined us for FIVE. It's not every day we get to celebrate with all the people we love, from vendors to brides (past, present, and future!) and the whole anna be crew! We walked into Mile High Station that morning to find the whole place buzzing with excitement. Stage being set up, tables being filled, cooks in the kitchen, and we were finishing our list of the last hundred or so details, getting our make-up done, and putting the finishing touches on everything. But when our name went up in lights from the balcony and the curtains went up on each of the vignettes scattered throughout the space, we knew it was going to be a magical night (thank you Heather and your team at Calluna Events for making it all run so seamlessly!)
We greeted our first brides and showed them around a world of inspiration from all our planners, huge room-sized vignettes with tables filled with treats, samples, entertainment, and a few celebrities as well. Hors d'oeurves and champagne floated around the room as the rest of out guests arrived ready to take in all the sights, peruse and bid on a silent auction filled with luxury packages, and grab a cocktail or two from our secret mixologist tucked away in the speakeasy lounge (complete with crooning jazz singer and guitarist). Once we got to say our thank you's and survey a room full of smiling, happy people, we surprised our guests with a dance troupe burlesque performance, then gladly turned the night over to the rocking Soul School who brought down the house with some serious funk.
In the end not only did we get a chance to celebrate our fifth birthday, connect with amazing people we love, laugh, dance, auction a wedding dress, and party the night away, but we raised almost $10k for Greenhouse Scholars, allowing them to provide more students with support in their college journey.
